Irish Soda BreadI love St. Patrick's Day, especially the Irish Soda Bread that gets baked this time of year. I love the sweet soda bread and decided to give it a shot and bake some this year for St. Patrick's Day. It was super easy, very similar to scones...in fact, this was like a giant scone. Flour, sugar, baking soda, raisins (which I soaked in warm water), baking powder, salt, butter and buttermilk. It was pretty good and goes great with my Scottish Heather tea.
