So, I have been cleaning and cooking today. I decided to make some chocolate chip and m&m cookies today (the m&m's were from Easter last year and were starting to go stale, so I wanted to use them up). Anyway, I have had one mouse trap set for about a week and a half with no luck in catching the mystery mouse who left some droppings along the back of my counter. I have yet to find any more droppings since, so I thought I was out of the woods...until... I walked in from cleaning my living room and saw the mouse on the counter near the rack where I had my cookies cooling on! EEEK! Yes, Minnie Mouse I think was eating my cookies and boy was she fat! She ran right into my back right burner on my stove (where I saw Mickey Mouse last month run off to). So I had to set a second trap (which I did successfully on the first try and didn't snap my finger!!) on my counter right next to the stove. Ugh. So not appealing seeing that thing on my counter, but I hate mice! So, I left a piece of cookie on this trap (the other one has peanut butter) in hopes of catching her soon. Of course, I did throw out a handful of cookies that were along the side of the cooling rack, just in case Minnie was helping herself- I didn't want to get sick from eating something she had already tried.
This started as a 365 day-by-day blog of my life in Boston as a 2nd year transplant from May 2010- May 2011. I continued into my 3rd year before one of my New Year's Resolutions was to make something new each week. So I blogged about my dishes with photos. Now, another resolution has brought me back to blogging. In March 2014 I plan on spending only $45 which can only go towards food/beverages. Stay tuned to see how I do.

If you give a mouse a cookie...
