It was rainy/cloudy/sunny type a day. I had some April sprinkles drop on me when I walked to church this morning. It was a longer mass today than normal as it was Palm Sunday, when we get palms and stand a lot more as we read out loud the reading of Jesus' crucifixion like a play. Every Palm Sunday, for as long as I can remember, while listening to the sermon I fold my palms and create a cross which I then display in my room or now my apartment until the next year's Ash Wednesday. This year was no different. Using only the palm (yes one palm) I constructed a cross. I noticed that there were many others that did this to their palms while the sermon was going on (or during the readings).
One more week until my birthday and looking forward to having a glass of wine. I've almost done it!
