Today was back to work day. It's a 2 day work week for me and I was playing catch up and get ahead today. My colleagues surprised me with a Boston Cream Pie birthday cake. It was really delicious, and I've never had a birthday cake that was a Boston Cream Pie, so I'm glad it happened the year I decided to blog my life. It was a rainy day and I am looking forward to CA. I'm just about all packed and recovering from my dinner. My coworker and I went and had sushi and we totally ate too much. The birthday stuff just keeps on rolling. I took home my ice cream maker I purchased for myself with my Amazon gift certificate, then Panera and Finale sent me my free birthday goodies. I am very thankful for my friend who will be plant sitting for me. My egg carton full of plants looks pathetic next to her large bean plants. I hope they behave for her.
