Things I've Learned Recently

Waiting for the bus on trash day when it's hot and muggy after a night's rain... stinks (literally)

Using an at-home hot wax for hair removal when it's 83° in the house is a bad idea... it's messy and doesn't remove hair.

Taking a spin class at lunchtime is awesome; taking a cold shower afterwards feels nice, but then when you step outside and walk 5 minutes back to work, you get sweatier than when you were in spin class...that sucks!

Even the non-asshole boys can be assholes some times.

No matter what, people will always complain about "space" [personal, office, how it's used, etc.]

A friend will listen to me bitch and complain, a great friend will say "anything else?" and mean "are you really going to keep complaining?"

Sleep deprivation totally affects my short-term memory... I've been quite absentminded lately.

Friends fib, clothes don't... you may not think I've gained weight, but my closet tells the truth.

I'm way too independent and self efficient for my own good, what can a man offer me if I keep this up?

I miss listening to country, being goofy with my family and hate being alone.

More structural fires happen here than in Cali... I say it's b.c of the ancient buildings and bad/old wiring, but then again it could be stupid frat boys :P

I really love winter.

With the right guy, I do want to have at least one baby.

I have poor gay-dar (sorry straight dudes who I thought were gay)

I need to learn to identify fake people a hell of a lot sooner; they are the ones I really need to stay away from.

Traveling to see family makes me so very happy.
