Just as buildings had finished switching over from air to heat, mother nature throws us a curve ball and I'm sweating my boobs off in this 70° and humid weather. I am thankful I decided to keep my AC unit in (just in case we get a hot spell at the end of October...good thinking on my part!) because it is running tonight. I didn't move to Boston from Cali to be sweating the last week of October. I did find a way to cool off tonight. I went down to the Brookline Booksmith (an independent bookstore where quite a few couples have met and gone on to tying the knot) for a book talk, wine tasting and book signing with a friend. It was a good talk (all about wine) and I even bought the book and got it signed! My first signed book (personalized with my unique spelling of my first name) and it's all about wine! Tonight made me want to host a blind wine tasting. Anyway, a good night where I tried something new and unique to my town of Brookline.
