Trick or Treat

Today was Boston's 15th annual Vegetarian Food Fest. Me and a few herbivores went to this free event, which was way more crowded that I thought it would be. We sat (or rather stood) for a health talk and learned that vegetarian females age slower and that crab apples are the healthiest apples... among other things that I did not retain. There were free samples of food and drinks, and I came back with a lot of free stuff... it was like we were trick-or-treating for healthy vegetarian foods- Hemp Seed, cereal, tea, crackers (see photo right) I actually fit in at this food fest; it was like I was normal because I could eat everything. I did not have to worry whether or not I could sample the food bc everything was meatless!

I also dressed up and met some friends at the last stop on the pub crawl tonight before going out to dinner. It was fun to see everyone all dressed up. I had a lot of fun and thanks Nick for convincing me to come out :) So now I wait and wait and wait for the C line to come. At least this year I am in comfy workout clothes and shoes, and not walking around in my slutty costume with uncomfortable heeled boots trying to hail a cab with it raining. No my friends, my second Halloween in Boston was great and it's all because of YOU!
