I made it to California, where the rain has stopped and the water has receded. I do not remember the trip from Boston to San Diego being so long. I stopped in Phoenix but did not have de-plane. The trip to Phoenix was a little over 6 hours, and I was itchin to get off at the 3 hour mark, and we weren't even outside Denver yet. I guess those one hour plane trips from BOS to RDU have spoiled me. I'm exhausted, but it was so nice to have my best friend pick me up at the airport so we could go out for dinner. It was so nice sitting and catching up with her. The bar was calm and friendly, totally different feel than the Boston bars. It was fun people watching and comparing the people in Boston to Californian's.
