Well I finally got what I wished for and was late to my massage appointment bc the roads were gridlocked due to the snow storm. It's New England people! It took me 20 minutes to go the length of Avenue Louis Pasture via the shuttle bus (a 5 minute walk) and got off in traffic to run and catch the T to make it into Harvard Square. I was only 10 minutes late, but learned that on snow days, the T is the fastest choice. Of course, really needed a massage after that. I got 40min instead of an hour, but it was better than nothing. Then I treated myself to Finale for a 3 course meal and hot beverage. Now I'm stuffed, wet bc my boots leak and am ready to fall asleep. The snow is nice and fluffy, but to powdery to make a snowball. I did try. It's finally winter...well, we got snow on the eve of the Winter solstice, so as far as I'm concerned...it's winter, and I got the snow I was so looking forward to. Now just need to pray that my flight on Wednesday isn't delayed (b/c of snow here and heavy rain in San Diego).
This started as a 365 day-by-day blog of my life in Boston as a 2nd year transplant from May 2010- May 2011. I continued into my 3rd year before one of my New Year's Resolutions was to make something new each week. So I blogged about my dishes with photos. Now, another resolution has brought me back to blogging. In March 2014 I plan on spending only $45 which can only go towards food/beverages. Stay tuned to see how I do.
