Felt like a warm summer day today. And after having 5 nights in a row of getting home after 9pm, a much needed night off. Cooked some food before heading up to the Reservoir for a 4+ mile walk with a neighbor. Since it was still in the mid 80s when I got off work, we waited until 6:15 to go walking in hopes that it would cool down a bit. It didn't. So I sported a t-shirt and shorts. Of course, I got bit by a few bugs on one leg, I should have used my Off wipes that I have which I bought and have never used. I'll know better for next time. We got to see the sunset and then the bright orange moon (the Harvest Moon as I learned today). There were a lot of people out walking today, even though it was getting dark fast. We felt safe enough since us two girls were walking together and there were still a lot of people walking and jogging with us. We left at 7:30, after 2 laps and an hour walking time, and it was dark. Made me think that after the time change, there's no way I'll be able to walk alone after work and I don't know if my neighbor will want to either since it will be dark before I get home. I can't wait to go walking again (even if I can only squeeze it in on the weekends). The leaves are starting to change and I so want to try capturing the stages of them turning.
