Reservoir

I had no idea such a beautiful places existed less than 10 minutes from my apartment! Me and a neighbor went up to Reservoir at the end of the C line and walked a little over 5 miles during my favorite time of day. It was so peaceful and beautiful; I can't believe I've lived here for over a year and just now learned of this place! I would have totally made walking around this 2.25 mile reservoir part of my daily routine had I known it was so close! It reminded me of the walks I did with my BFF in Cali (minus the kids and dogs though). This is another thing I've forgotten about myself. I enjoy walking outside, being in nature and just letting my stresses melt away. Not to mention a good hour long walk with a friend to catch up with. It is also closed to BC (Boston College) and I was suddenly hit with a memory from high school, traveling in the marching band to football games. I was reminded I missed out on College Football b/c my university didn't have sports, and now I want to go to a football game! Looks like I might have to try convincing some of my friends to go with me to a Harvard football game or something (I know I get free tickets for a game coming up). Another experience I need to have now seeing as though I'm living like a 2nd year college student (minus the classes and homework). Oh so much to do, today was a good day :)
