Time

There just never seems to be enough time to do everything. I have so much to do and I sacrifice my sleep to conquer some of the stuff. I had a pot and wooden utensils sitting in the sink for a few days and after leaving the house at 8:45am by the time I get home from the gym at 7:15, it doesn't leave much time to get things done. That's 10.5 hours I'm not home. By the time I was done cooking my butternut squash risotto and sat down to eat it was 8:30pm. Then, b/c I found more mice droppings (and the plastic wrap they took off the trap a few weeks ago) I had to clean the counter again with Clorox disinfectant cleaner and set traps. My friend gave me these alligator looking ones and I hope they catch the mice. So after cooking dinner I had no choice but to do ALL the dishes. I also took the recycling out, but it's already 9:40 and I still haven't figured out what I have that's clean to wear to work tomorrow and I have piles of laundry that I haven't gotten to yet. With 24 hours in a day, 10.5 hours away from home, 45 minutes getting ready for work... that leaves only 12.75 hours of unused time in the day. Factor in 9 hours for sleep (from the time I hop into bed, until getting up in the morning), an hour getting ready for bed (showering, brushing teeth, etc.). That leaves less than 3 hours to make dinner, write my blog and relax. No wonder I feel like there isn't enough time to clean, do my taxes or just simply sit and relax.
