Holy Cow! I did not think it was supposed to be this windy or cold today. Yesterday I wore a dress with nylons to work and a wool coat instead of my feather coat. Today, I'm glad I grabbed a pair of gloves and my feather coat b/c when I left work it was like walking into a wind tunnel and thoughts of Stryker from indoor sky diving came to mind. It felt like I was being hit by needles as I walked to the bus to go home and boy was I glad to get inside. Tonight I walked down to a friends house for some healthy dinner, wine and girl talk. Time just flies when you have great company, if it wasn't for the wind howling outside that got me to ask if it was the T or the wind, I think I could have easily been there for another hour without realizing how late it was. I left a little after 11 and walked home, very thankful that the strong wind we heard must have passed through b/c I did not face strong winds on my walk home. Anyway, I snapped this photo of the elevator certificate b/c I have this thing for checking the expiration date on these inspection certificates in elevators. I have seen numerous outdated certificates, like this one I took in my friends building. Notice the expiration date reads 7/1/10 and today's date is 2/8/11? I'd say this one needs to be inspected or at least get an updated inspection certificate to replace this one.
